Aptly named for the stars on a grand scale and the flower on an intimate scale, this statement design is stylistically inspired by both. The eight sets of custom-cut tapered baguettes are punctuated by eight larger rounds between. This creates more a more rounded and less geometric starburst than it’s counterpart, the Hexagon design, and places emphasis on the large, 1.5-2 carat center stone. The setting has been designed to sit low profile and to accommodate a wedding band flush to the shank.
Currently, the Aster design is only possible with a 7.5-8mm center stone or larger to accommodate the number of tapered baguettes in the outer halo. Trying to visualize this ring on your finger? Pricing Options for the most commonly used stones:
- Important note: most photos of this ring include vintage detailing on the shank/band. This upgrade is +$350.
- 8mm center Chatham white sapphire and surrounding white sapphires in 14k gold (white, yellow, rose): $3400
- Semi mount with white sapphires (no center stone): $2650
- All diamond semi mount, G-H, VS-SI1 (no center stone): $5100
- All diamond semi mount with a 8mm (2 carat) Forever One Moissanite Center: $5800
- All diamonds with a 2 carat center stone (pricing will vary depending on the center stone that you choose): approximately $24000-$30000, G-H, SI1. A lab diamond center stone is available upon request (lab diamonds are only center stone options, the setting can only be made with natural diamonds).

- 8mm Morganite (peachy pink center) with surrounding white sapphires: $3100
- 8mm Morganite (peachy pink center) with surrounding diamonds: $5300
- 8mm Black Onyx, black diamond halo with surrounding white sapphires: $2850

What materials are used for the white sapphire version of this ring?
- The center is a chatham white sapphire, the halo is always diamonds (white sapphires break/crack at that scale), and the outside stones are white sapphires: natural white sapphires for the rounds and Chatham white sapphires for the custom cut baguettes (cleaner stones from the same DNA, less imperfections that would be easily visible in a natural sapphire baguette cut)
I already have an heirloom stone, can I use it in this setting?
- Yes! I love when clients incorporate their own stones into my settings. I can build a semi mount for you to precisely fit your center stone size and color. You can choose to send the stone to me to have it set at no extra cost, or I can send you the semi mount to have your stone set locally. I will need exact millimeter dimensions of your stone to give you a quote.
Can I buy this ring with other stones?
- Yes! Please contact me for a quote for different stones, including blue sapphires, rubies, etc.
Can this ring be built with all Moissanite or lab diamonds?
- Unfortunately, no. Both moissanite and lab diamonds are only center stone options in my designs. The outside stones can be white sapphires or natural diamonds.
